You are invited to attend our Sunday 3 PM Worship Service
at CELEBRATION CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
#110-12332 Patullo Place, Surrey,BC
In association with PAOC
In this day and age DNA is very important. As a church we should have a DNA. The very essence of our existence hinges on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20. The command of God is to go and make disciples.
Discipleship involves a close connection and personal concern among the believers. Christianity is about right relationship to God (vertical) and right relationship with our neighbors (horizontal.) We have to carry our cross daily with the renewing of our minds. It's the cross of Jesus. Consider it joy to be partakers of God's sufferings.
As predominantly Filipinos we can be the show case to other ethnic groups on how we could live out the gospel.
As we mature spiritually as individuals and as a congregation let us not forget the great commission. Psalm 47:1 and Psalm 99:1 summon not only the nation of Israel but all nations to honor God. The Apostle Peter called the church "a holy nation." This "holy nation" is composed of people from different nations, races and cultures. The unifying factor is the Lord Jesus Christ himself.
So in conclusion, we are not only to preach, witness and win people to the Lord but above all make them disciplined followers of Jesus. We can only do this in unity and yet be diverse in strategies and forms. Celebrate unity and honor diversity.
It's our DNA.
